Rick is a Co-Founder and is the Managing Director of Training Leadership Consulting. Rick is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and works one-on-one with clients as a Client Engagement Leader, Consultant, Trainer and Mentor. Rick oversees client service delivery and is a corporate trainer of Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process, Change Management, and other Business Improvement related topics. Rick has developed a comprehensive Business Architecture Model (SOM), to assist companies to advance through the Process Maturity Model (PMM) in order to establish a company as a Process-centered organization, prepare them for IT Enablement and deployment of Six Sigma.
Rick has 14 years of experience in Process Improvement, Change Leadership and assisting companies to integrate Performance Improvement systems into their organizations to drive benefits realization. Rick started his career with Accenture in 1993 and then moved to PriceWaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services in 1998. Both offices based in Denver, Colorado.

Rick was first trained in Six Sigma in 1998 and specialized in using Six Sigma for Strategic Change and assisted companies navigate large-scale organizational change and IT Related, performance improvement projects. Rick relocated to South Africa in Sept. 2001. He joined Alpine Trading, an international Trading Company, as the Head of Operations. Relying on his Six Sigma and Process Management background, Rick assisted the partners in preparing the company to be sold to Kingfisher PLC Ltd. a UK FTSE 100 company by designing and implementing a business architecture model. Once sold, the company became Kingfisher Sourcing Africa. While at Kingfisher, Rick was responsible for running the Business Operations, IT and Quality for this large export management company.
In 2005, Rick returned to the consulting world when he joined Breakthrough Management Group (BMG Africa) as the Director of Business Development. While at BMG, Rick trained 100’s of Black Belts, Team Members, Managers and Business Leaders on Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management. Rick also ran Black Belt projects for clients and presented at IQPC, Markus Evans and other Lean Six Sigma Conferences.
