New Regional Director appointed for Western Cape and Africa

Andrew Lawson a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt has joined Training Leadership Consulting's team of experts as their Regional Director for Western Cape and Africa. He has delivered significant Lean and Six Sigma improvement programmes in large, complex manufacturing and service organisations. Andrew defines his success by making a real difference, inspiring and influencing those around him. He excels at working with people and creating natural engagement and has a passion for teaching.

"I am a "big picture" strategic thinker and have coached at all levels of the organisation. I've developed and delivered visions for improvement and selected the most appropriate Lean or Six Sigma strategy to deliver results for the culture, values and structure of the business." says Lawson. Throughout his career he has been accountable for the design and delivery of continuous improvement programmes in manufacturing, service, financial and IT based industries, including Air Traffic Control (NATS) and the United States Army.

13 September 2012 –The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded Training Leadership Consulting (TLC) the prestigious Authorised Provider accreditation. IACET Authorised Providers are the only organisations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that period.

Training Leadership Consulting a leading Lean and Six Sigma Training/Deployment Company has teamed up with Kenya Airways to offer Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training from September – November 2012.

Kenya Airways selected Training Leadership Consulting (TLC) as their World Class Operations Deployment Partner. In this Partnership TLC will use their Lean and Six Sigma Curriculum and experience to Train and Develop Kenya Airways team members in World Class Operation and Service practices.

This course teaches you to solve problems by following a proven, disciplined approach using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology.

Pietermaritzburg business leaders and entrepreneurs were honoured at the Annual PCB/ Nedbank Banquet and awards ceremony held in early November. Our very own Managing Director, Rick McCarthy, was awarded 2011 Champion Entrepreneur of the Year.

Rick is also the founder of Solé Salons & Spas which was formed in 2009 by himself and business partner/Master Stylist - Malcolm Smith. In awarding this prestigious honour, the review committee made special note of the portfolio of companies and corporate social investment programs that Rick and his partners are involved with.
