This course is designed to teach Business Process Improvement using the DMAIC  (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) Methodology. Consistent with all TLC  Courses, the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course has a built-in simulated project. This  simulated project is designed to take learners through a real world scenario to test their  understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of the Lean Six Sigma  methodology. The course is 15 days in duration (over a 3 month period) and utilizes a  combination of process improvement simulation, case studies, application of tools and  project work to facilitate learning.

On successful completion of the simulated project and examination, you will receive an  Internationally recognised Standard Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from TLC and  the Acuity Institute.

This beginner’s course covers how to apply lean to services and administrative functions and provides fast and dramatic results. Ideally this course is designed for the Project Manager who works within a transactional or service environment. It teaches skills needed to create flow, reduce costs, eliminate constraints, simplify and enhance in Transactional Processes.

The Focus Methodology was developed by TLC to create a structured approach to LEAN implementation. The FOCUS roadmap will assist users to identify problems, improve and implement a LEAN solution.

Ideally this course is designed for the Project Manager who works within a manufacturing environment. It teaches skills needed to simplify and enhance complex mechanical processes.

This five-day course is designed to teach Lean fundamentals and its appropriate for a Manufacturing Environment.  Participants are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of all elements of the Lean Principles. The course utilizes a combination of Lean Lead-time reduction simulation, case studies, and application of tools to facilitate learning the Lean principles.
