Process Management

Business Process Management (BPM) is the practice of Managing by Cross-Functional Process rather than Functional Silos.  It requires that a business maps each process defined by each layer of Core and Enabling Processes.  Each process is standardized and stabilized and enabled by the essential Business IT systems within an organization. This approach seeks to optimize end-to-end work-flows in the most efficient and effective manner rather than to be defined by functional or departmental boundaries.

Most businesses find it difficult if not nearly impossible to switch to true Business Process Management.

Training Leadership Consulting has developed a unique approach to developing a Business Process Management model for our clients. By following an integrated approach of Change Management and Process Improvement methodologies, the Organization is mapped, and all related details of the business rules, policies, roles and responsibilities are Documented, Standardized, Measured and then if necessary Optimized. The improved processes and business information are then compiled into a Standard Operating Model (SOM) or what we refer to as our "Franchise Model", which forms the foundation of staff training and performance management.

Organizational Change is a very important discipline required and is handled with the most care to ensure success.

The benefits of this approach are experienced through reducing the amount of variation felt by the customer and increasing the flow of work to reduce cycle times. Companies that have successfully implemented the Standard Operating Model / Franchise Model, enjoy less rework, lower costs and faster turn around times.
